The Institute for the History of the Italian Catholic Action and the Italian Catholic Movement Paolo VI, in addition to research projects, study activities, conferences and seminars, promotes publishing initiatives to disseminate the results achieved. The publishing activity is organized into publication of researches and studies focused on the history of the Catholic movement.
The Institute launched in 1983, with Ave publisher, the series "Ricerche e documenti” (Researches and Documents), which includes several essays based on the archival materials preserved by the Institute. The Institute also launched, with Ave publisher, the more popular series "Il seme e l’aratro” (The seed and the plow), to investigate aspects and moments - on both national and local scale - in the history of the Catholic Action and the Catholic movement in the twentieth century. The Institute also supports the promotion of the series "Testimoni” (Witnesses), devoted to relevant figures of the contemporary religious history.
The research activities result into publications with other publishers as well.
